4-week summer introduction for children 4–6

Taking place in Cottage #2 behind the left side of the MoCA Westport building.

DATES: Saturday July 10, 17, 24, 31.

CLASSES: 9:00 – 9:45am, & 10:00 – 10: 45am

SIZE: Minimum of two children, maximum of four children

FEES: 1 - 3 classes, $35 each — all 4 classes for $130 total ($10 discount)

Keyboard Games is a research-based method and play-based curriculum that introduces music through movement, rhythm, and pitch-oriented activities. Children explore music of various tonalities and meter, and naturally absorb musical vocabularies known as tonal and rhythm patterns.

Class activities include singing, chanting, and moving to music of various meters and tonalities so students can start to internalize music the way they absorbed their native tongue.
